So guys Hero Strike is a structure Deck coming out here soon and I thought I should help people get ready for this set. So what his hero strike you ask well it is base around Masked hero archetype. I think this is good for the Hero set considering Konami obviously wanted to get away from the bubble beat decks because let's be honest that's not how they wanted Heros run anyways. Heros should be fusing alot and otking with the high attacks their hero fusion have.
Now lets go over important cards from Hero Strike. First one is:
Elemental HERO Mist Shadow
level 4/ Warrior/ DARK
If this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Change" Quick-Play Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "HERO" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Elemental HERO Shadow Mist". You can only use 1 "Elemental HERO Shadow Mist" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Now how you can special summon her is with lets say Summoner Monk because if you have a useless spell in your hand you can dump it special summon her get her effect set the spell with some traps then either xyz summon for a rank 4 or wait then you can summon the next card I am going to go over with the change spell card.
Elemental HERO Dark Law
level 6/ Warrior/ DARK
Must be Special Summoned by "Mask Change", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Any card sent to your opponent's Graveyard is banished instead. Once per turn, when your opponent adds a card(s) from their Main Deck to their hand, except during the Draw Phase: You can banish 1 random card from your opponent's hand.
Now this card is BA lolz. This guy is one of my prefer fusion to go into now. Not only does he looks BA but his effect stops most decks. Shaddolls require the graveyard but when you get this guy on their first turn that is GG for them. Also Lightsworns will be a problem next ban list with their new structure deck as well but THE DARK LAW says hell no to the lightsworns and ruins their plays plus when your opponent is trying to add cards from their deck to their hand you can banish one card in their hand soooo ummm yeah exodia watch out!
Now for the spell change cards.
Mask Change Second
Quick-play spell
Discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up monster you control that has a Level; send it to the Graveyard, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Masked HERO" monster from your Extra Deck with the same Attribute as that monster, but with a higher Level. (This Special Summon is treated as a Special Summon with "Mask Change".) You can only activate 1 "Mask Change Second" per turn.
This card is basically mask change again but with a cost. Still a helpful cost because use that discard like Neos alius and then fusion summon with miracle fusion into like Elemental hero shinning or absolute zero. Then you could have Law and another broken hero fusion monster on the field.
Form Change
Quick-Play spell
Target 1 "HERO" Fusion Monster you control; return that monster to the Extra Deck, and if you do, Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Masked HERO" monster with the same Level as the original Level of the returned monster but with a different name. (This Special Summon is treated as a Special Summon with "Mask Change".)
To be honest I wouldn't run more than 2 of these personally I run one. I can't find any other reason to run it at 3 since it does the same thing as any other mask change but sends a fusion back to the extra deck I mean you could use it to trigger Zero's effect and blow up the field then do major damage but besides that not my favorite card to run in the deck.
simple basic way to run this deck. special summon mist shadow alot then mask change fusion summon into law or other mask heros. Fusion summon from the grave into bigger fusion then beat the S*** out of your opponent with those fusion also don't be afraid to rank 4 in the deck lavalval chain is very helpful.
top 5 cards to run in the deck:
Summoner monk
A Hero Lives
Miracle Fusion
Pot of Duality
Super poly.
Overall I rate this deck 4 out 5 stars for consistency and speed also with the new Heros the deck will have alot more competitive scene.
