I've postulated that a deck consisting of the two main monsters Dark Magician and Stardust Dragon could be very effective.
The concept is because of Spellcasters' heavy card support, along with Dark Magician's card support, a Dark Magician would be able to wipe the field with the opponent's field consistently with a varied draw of support cards. A hole in this would be that during the opponents turn, Dark Magician could be considered vulnerable to effects of either spells, traps or monster effects. That is where Stardust comes in. With additional fire power, Stardust's effect could be use to protect the Dark Magician and cut down his vulnerability. Obviously the risk could be cut down more by having a Royal Decree trap lockdown and as an extra precaution, Skill Drain (which would stop Stardust's protective ability but the additional fire power would be there).
The problem is, I do not what the best combination of cards would be to synchro Stardust, get Dark Magician onto the field as quick as possible and also just to bulk up the Deck's power i.e. cards that are consistently used, like Mirror Force.
That's my plan, thanks:D
