I: General War Rules

  1. All official wars must follow the respective Advanced Format Banlists without changes (cannot restrict decks, cards, etc.).
  2. All matches are best 2 out of 3 with side-decking allowed.
  3. All official wars must be unlocked ( Deck changing always allowed
Both rosters must have the same number of players.
  4. Admins reserve the right to remove teams from events in justified cases such as severe inactivity, cheating and any other misconduct of a team.

II: During a War

  1. Hosting a war duel without allowing watchers or refusing to tell the entry password to the members of your opponent's team is not permitted.
  2. After each match, at least one of the players must post the results.
  3. Confirmation from the opponent, while not necessary, is advised. (Always take screenshots of your victories; you may be asked for them.)
  4. If the official banlist changes, the war will use that new banlist.
  5. Using an OCG exclusive card during a TCG duel and vice versa constitutes an illegal card error and warrants a game loss.
  6. TCG cards on Dueling Network are considered to be TCG legal upon their legality date in any region (GMT 0).
  7. If your opponent includes an illegal card in their Deck or a Deck error has occurred, screenshot the situation and inform your opponent of the issue.
  8. Your opponent receives a game loss and must side out the illegal card(s) or in case of Deck error must change the Deck before proceeding with the
  9. next duel of the match.
  10. If an illegal card issue is reported after the match is complete, the result of the match will not be overturned. The illegal card(s) must be removed from the Deck then replaced with a side deck card(s).
  11. If an illegal deck issue is reported after a match is complete, the result of the match will be nullified

III: War Formats

Hearts:

  1. Minimum 4 players with the maximum of 5 players are allowed from each side.
  2. The number of Hearts must be equal to the number of total players (maximum 10).
  3. Team Leaders may substitute a player in from their Team Page up to 1 time per war.
  4. Players can challenge any opponent.
  5. When a player loses, their Team loses 1 Heart.
  6. The first team to reach 0 Hearts loses the war.

Double Crossfire:

  1. Minimum 4 players with the maximum of 5 players are allowed from each side.
  2. Team Leaders  may substitute a player in from their Team Page up to 1 times per war.
  3. Players can challenge any opponent.
  4. A player who loses 2 matches is eliminated.
  5. The first team to reach 0 remaining players loses.

IV: Activity

  1. In order for a war to be considered active, at least 1 match must be played each 3 days.
    - Violating this rule will result in a warning, which gives you 48 hours to organize a war match or else the war will be finished accordingly.
    - Violating it again will result in the finishing of the war without any warning given.
  2. If the opposite team is inactive, you are required to post screenshots of rejected challenges, inactive player profiles, and any other information that may help the Admins in their decisions. Forgetting to post these may influence the outcome of the war.
  3. Admins may end your war due to the above inactivity rules or the 25 day deadline.
  4. If a war is not complete by deadline, Admins may grant you a one-time only extension.

V: Disputes

  1. If a player has to go during a duel, they forfeit it upon leaving. If a player has to go in between duels of a match (during siding), it may continue later.
    - Before a player leaves a war duel, both players need to screenshot their decks and send their screenshots to an Admin in order to guarantee decks were not edited.
    - If screenshots are not submitted, the players may not side for the next game.
  2. If a situation cannot be resolved between you and your opponent, you may contact an Admin. Please be patient while waiting and explain the situation carefully.

VI: Disconnections

  1. A game loss is enforced in almost all cases involving a player dropping out during a war duel for whatever reason.
    - Immediately following the disconnection, screenshots of the entire deck should be sent to an Admin
    - If screenshots are not submitted, the players may not side for the next game.
  2. If it is proven that advantage was favoring the disconnecting player to the point that their victory was ensured, an Admin may award them as the winner of the Duel instead.
  3. If it is proven that advantage was favoring the disconnecting player or in special cases (e.g. both players lose connection at the same time while none of them is in leading position) Admins may grant them a reduel instead.
  4. If the disconnection occurs during siding, the match resumes from the point at which the disconnection occurred.

VII: Punishments

  1. Team Leaders: Purposefully ignoring an Admin's decision, refusing to submit war results, or any other intentional misuse of your position will result in a Leadership Ban. Evading a Leadership Ban will result in a Permanent War Ban.
  2. Attempting to be active on multiple teams at the same time, using more than one account on the same team, Cheating, Lying to an Admin, Faking Evidence and any other malicious conduct will result in a Permanent War Ban. Evading a War Ban will possibly result in an IP ban.
